Getting better sleep with BIE

Updated: Mar 10

Are you still tossing and turning all night after trying everything you can think of to get one good night of sleep?

It’s not uncommon to hear from clients that they have tried almost everything --- supplements (melatonin, valerian, camomile etc.), nighttime teas, exercising, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, adopting a bedtime routine, reducing light exposure before going to bed, sleeping in a cool room etc. --- and they still can’t manage to sleep throughout the night and wake up feeling refreshed.

What may be the issue?

You may be intolerant to a substance. As a BIE practitioner, my job is to identify any potential intolerances that may explain why you can’t fall asleep or stay asleep during the night. I am looking for the frequency pattern of any substance that your body does not properly recognize. The assessment tool that I use is called muscle testing. It is a simple and insightful test that will determine your body’s response to various frequency patterns.

The theory behind BIE states that a past stressful event has resulted in your body making a negative association between the “trauma” of the event and any substance that your body was exposed to. By your body thinking that the substance is the culprit of the stress, it now identifies the substance as “harmful” (when it is not). Consequently, your body “blocks” or “rejects” the substance everytime your body is exposed to it. Now, the interesting part is that the substance can be anything. Substances can be food, pollen, dust, and even compounds that your body naturally makes like hormones, enzymes and neurotransmitters!

Specifically for sleep, I would be checking to see if your body can recognize the frequency pattern of sleep-related substances including:

  • Melatonin (sleep hormone)

  • Neurotransmitters (ex. acetylcholine, GABA, norepinephrine)

  • Cortisol (stress hormone)

  • Parts of the brain (ex. pineal gland, suprachiasmatic nucleus)

  • Brain waves

  • Full spectrum light

  • Alcohol and caffeine

  • Minerals and vitamins (ex. magnesium, vitamin D, B vitamins)

  • Geopathic stressors (ex. new moon, full moon)

By using the simple muscle test, I will be able to see how your body responds to the frequency patterns of each of these substances. Whichever frequencies your body does not properly recognize, the frequency gets imprinted onto your body through electromagnetic waves. This allows your body to get “re-educated” on what the identity of the substance is, so it can now properly recognize it and respond to it. As a result, your body returns to a more balanced energetic state.
